Legal Aid
LLOYD LAW COLLEGE provides students participation in legal clinics to help students learn about law through application, practice and reflection. It is to provide professional skills in areas such as interviewing, counseling, and fact investigation.
The aim behind Legal Aid being:

  • Teaching law to students by practical exposure.
  • Instructing students in professional responsibility by exposing them directly to the ethics of the profession.
  • Expose students to the demands and methods of acting in the role of an attorney.
  • Provide opportunity for collaborative learning.
  • Impart the obligation of service to clients, information about how to engage in such
  • representation and knowledge about the impact of the legal system on poor people.
  • Provide opportunity to examine the impact of doctrine in real life and provide a laboratory where students study particular areas of law.
  • Critique the capacities and limitations of lawyers and the legal system.
