| Cultural Events |
Cultural Committee organizes cultural events like Dandia night, Lohri, Diwali celebrations. The Committee also organized the Intra-college Cultural Event- Carpediem.
Annual Day - The College organized its Annual Function "SUMMON 2011" (Spectacular Unfurling of Memorable Mesmerizing and Opulent Novelty) on 16th March. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Hon'ble Shri H.S Yadav, District Judge, Gautam Budh Nagar. The program was teeming with energy and enthusiasm. The function saw full participation from students of all semesters. The students performed various activities like different dance forms, drama, vocal and guitar performances.
The grand finale of the show was a ramp walk performed by the First year students on the basis of which Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher were announced. Mr. Fresher was awarded to Mr.Drone Khullar and Ms. Fresher to Ms. Shyambhavi Vineet.
The event witnessed the Prize Distribution ceremony wherein the awards were given for all the activities performed during the year 2010, like academics, sports and moot court competitions. The highlight of the award function was the introduction of Prof (Dr.) S.P. Singh and Mrs. Kamini Singh Gold Medal for the five year topper, which was awarded to Ms. Priti Giri for the session 2005-2010. The speech of Director General included a narration of the achievements of the college in the year 2010-2011 like the Orientation Program, Intra Moot Court Competition and Lecture on Constitution Law by Prof. M.P. Singh. The event ended with the encouraging speech of the Chief Guest who invited all the students to witness the proceedings of the District Court. |
