STUDENT OF LLOYD LAW COLLEGE, MANUJ BHARDWAJ PRESENTED WITH “YOUTH ICON AWARD 2016” BY TAKE CARE INDIA AND DR. APJ ABDUL KALAM INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION ON NATIONAL YOUTH DAY (12TH JANUARY, 2016) To commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary, Take Care India in association with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation instituted “Youth Icon Award 2016” to recognize inspiring youth leaders. Manuj Bhardwaj (Final Year Law Student) for his exemplary works in social arena has been presented with the prestigious “Youth Icon Award 2016” during the ceremony held at Loyola College, Chennai on the National Youth Day. The award was presented to Manuj by Swami Shukadevanandaji Maharaj (Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith) in the august presence of Shri Palam Kalyanasundaram (Man of the Millenium); Shri APJMJ Sheik Dawood (Social Activist & Grandson of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam) ; Mr. Abdul Ghani (Green Man of India) and many other dignitaries.
LLOYD LAW STUDENTS WON 1ST NATIONAL YOUTH PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE IMS UNISON UNIVERSITY- The competition was held in IMS UNISON UNIVERSITY , DEHRADUN ON 1st May, 2015. The participants in Lok Sabha committee and the other committee from Lloyd were Narendra Singh Puniya, Ashutosh Pandey, Chainika Sharma, Mounika Saraswati, Abhay Gupta, Ankita Aggarwal, Pranav Rudresh and Dilpreet Kaur. Best Parliamentarian Award was bagged by ASHUTOSH PANDEY (B.A.LL.B. 4th Sem), and High Commendation by NARENDRA SINGH PUNIYA (B.A.LL.B. 6th Sem) in ALL INDIA POLITICAL PARTY MEET : High Commendation was bagged by ABHAY GUPTA (B.A.LL.B. 2nd Sem), and Special Mention was bagged by PRANAV RUDRESH (B.A.LL.B. 2nd Sem). The award was presented by EX-CHIEF JUSTICE OF UTTARAKHAND HIGH COURT RAJESH TANDON.
LLOYD LAW STUDENT WON BEST RESEARCHER AWARD IN MUN ( MODEL UNITED NATIONS) Amber Suchdev (B.A.LL.B. Sem. 4) won BEST RESEARCHER Award in MUN ( Model United Nations) 2015, for doing research on the topic “Human Rights in International Court of Justice”. The seminar was conducted from 6th to 8th April, 2015 in Chennai.
MS. AKANSHA JUYAUL AND MR. NARENDRA SINGH PUNIA FROM 3RD SEMESTER WHO GRABBED 2ND BEST TEAM PRIZE IN RAKESH AGGARWAL MEMORIAL NATIONAL LAW DEBATE COMPETITION – 2014 on 22nd September 2014, conducted by Ideal Institute of Management and Technology and School of Law, Karkardooma . The topic of the debate was " POLITICS OF COALITION IN INDIA - IS IT A MARK OF THE DEGENERATION OF DEMOCRACY?". NARENDRA SINGH PUNIA also received First Consolation prize.
SHAH – I – HAMDAAN NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION- 2012 HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR Sapna Arora, Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida bagged the Best Female Advocate Award in the two day Shah – I – Hamdaan National Moot Court Competition held at the University of Kashmir. Around 20 teams from various law institutions across the country had participated in the competition which was the first of its kind in Kashmir, organised by the Faculty of Law, University of Kahmir.
XTH DELHI/NCR MOOT COURT COMPETITION - 2012 AT CAMPUS LAW CENTRE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, DELHI Our team had qualified for Semi-finals in the competition of 10 teams, coming from various parts of Delhi and National Capital Territory. Our College was represented by Prakhar Pandey and Nidhi Pundir (both from IIIrd Sem. B.A. LLB) as Mooter and Utkarsh Tiwari (IIIrd Sem. B.A. LL.B) as Researcher.
IIT KANPUR MUN 2012 - 11TH TO 14TH OCTOBER 2012 Our students once again got the platform to prove themselves in the MUN of IIT Kanpur organized from 11th to 14th October 2012. Nishi Samrendra and Pooja Tiwari of B.A.LL.B. 3rd semester participated along with 150 other participants from the best colleges of India which all were divided in three committees namely ECOSOC, UNGA, HRC. Nishi Samrendra was awarded with Best Research paper (with cash prize) in the committee of General Assembly.
MOOT COURT COMPETITION -2011 AT NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY JODHPUR A three member team from Lloyd Law College, Ms. Niharika Dubey (B.A.LL.B. VI Sem.), Mr. Arjun Ranganathan (B.A.LL.B. VIII Sem) and Mr. Harish Kumar (B.A.LL.B. VIII Sem.) participated in the prestigious 2nd NLU Anti-trust Moot Court Competition held at National Law University, Jodhpur from 17th to 20th February 2011 in association with Lakshmi Kumaran and Sridharan, Attorneys and the Competition Commission of India. The Moot Court session began with an inaugural Ceremony presided by Justice N. N. Mathur, Vice-Chancellor, National Law University Jodhpur. A total of 29 teams from various Law Universities and Law Colleges across the country participated in this moot court competition on "Competition Law and Intellectual Property Law".
MOOT COURT COMPETITION-2011 AT UNIVERSITY LAW COLLEGE, BANGALORE A team comprising of three B.A.LL.B students of Lloyd Law College participated in XV All India Moot Court competition organized by University Law College, Bangalore held from 11th Feb to 13th Feb 2011. The team consisted of Chhaya Bhardwaj from B.A.LL.B. IInd Sem, Utkarsh Shrivastava and Sakshi Saran, both from B.A.LL.B. IVth Semester. The moot court problem was based on Constitutional Law.
MOOT COURT COMPETION-2011 AT NALSAR UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD A three member team from Lloyd Law College, Ms. Harshita Bhardwaj (B.A.LL.B. IV Sem.), Ms. Nandita Subedar (B.A.LL.B. IV Sem.), Mr. Hitesh Kumar (VI Sem.) participated in the prestigious Moot Court Competition held at NALSAR University, Hyderabad from 8th April to 10th April 2011. Law Colleges across the country participated in this moot court competition on "Corporate Governance".

MANUJ BHARDWAJ (LLOYD LAW COLLEGE’S FINAL YEAR STUDENT) HAS BEEN AWARDED AS THE “BEST SOCIAL YOUTH ENTREPRENEUR” BY THE GOVERNMENT OF BANGLADESH & DHAKA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY Manuj Bhardwaj was invited as an International Speaker to represent India at Bangladesh in Global Youth Entrepreneurs Summit 2015 organized by Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation (DYDF) in association with Government of Bangladesh and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry with the help of United Nations, youth entrepreneurs from more than 120 countries marked their presence in this summit held from 20th – 22nd November 2015. Manuj presented his ideas on entrepreneurship through a speech on “Youth Entrepreneurs – Empowering Indian Economy through Make in India” and among all the delegates he has been awarded as “Best Social Youth Entrepreneur” by Mr. Asaduzzaman Nur, Hon’ble Cultural Minister, Government of Bangladesh on behalf of Government of Bangladesh, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry & DYDF.

6th SURANA AND SURANA INTERNATIONAL TORT LAW MOOT COURT COMPETITION, PUNE (7th -10th DECEMBER 2012) A team of Lloyd Law College composed of Sakshi Saran, Shyambhavi Vineet and Divya Shubhra Chatterjee had participated in 6th Surana and Surana International Tort Law Moot Court Competition held at AKK New Law Academy Pune, where 28 teams across the country had participated including three international teams. Students of Lloyd won 2nd Best Speaker Award, 4th Best Memorial Award, 4th Best Speaker award.
